  Passed peacefully away at Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John's on Monday, July 5, 2004, Eliza Jane Smith of Clarenville, aged 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Cyril; sisters: Mildred Drodge and Blanche Soper and brothers: Cyril Drodge, Theophilus Drodge and Maxwell Drodge. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Mildred Holloway (Boyd), London, ON; Alice Long (Rod), George's Brook and Kim Smith (Lindo), Clarenville; son: William Smith (Colleen), Bramalea, ON; brother: Eldred Drodge, Clarenville; four grandchildren: Angie Reitveld, Steve Holloway, Susan LeGrow and Michael Long; one great-grandson: Jacob and a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 8, 2004 from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery.
