  Susie's death announcement appeared in The Packet: It is with great sadness the family of the late Susie Irene Butt, age 71, announce her passing on April 3, 2005, at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville. Predeceased by her husband Samuel; parents Thomas and Emily Lambert; twin brother Lester; and brothers George and Ebenezer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters Linda Butler, Florence (Clayton) Baker and Karen (Eric) Smith; her special friend Gordon Wells; grandchildren George (Cindy), Jeffrey (Naomi), Susan (Sterling), Maryanne (Wally), Krista (Rodney), Keith (Darlene), Kenneth (Jennifer), Ryan and Joanne; five great-grandchildren; brothers Cecil (Maggie) Lambert and Harvey (Alice) Lambert; sisters Mary Butt, Cecilia Green and Blanch (Austin) March; sister-in-law Stella Lambert. Also left to mourn are her nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour. The funeral service, officiated by Mrs. Elsie Squires and assisted by Pastor Rex Boone and Mr. Austin March, took place from the United Church, Hickman's Harbour, on April 5, with interment following.
