  Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on December 8, 2003 Norman Smith, age 81, from Hodge's Cove. Predeceased by his brother, Cyril Smith; and sisters, Violet Strowbridge and Annie Ricketts. He leaves to mourn his wife, Myra one son, Ron (Linda); granddaughter, Lisa; sisters, Gertie Strowbridge and Beatrice Whalen; plus other relatives and friends. Rested at the Anglican Church, Hodge's Cove, from where the funeral service, officiated by the Reverend E. Mercer, took place on Thursday, December 11, 2003, with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island. FAMILY CARING FOR FAMILY He lives with us in memory and will forevermore.
