  Passed peacefully away at Cozy Quarters in Clarenville on Friday, October 22, 2010, Beatrice Whalen of Caplin Cove, aged 90 years. Predeceased by husband Ernest; daughters Minnie Rodway and Florence Whalen; two grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters Martha Drodge (Jack) and Hilda Smith (Jake); son Norman (Frances); sister Gertie Strowbridge; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville and Little Heart's Ease. Funeral service took place Monday, October 25, 2010 from the United Church, Caplin Cove with interment at United Cemetery, Caplin Cove. In her memory donations may be made to United Church, Caplin Cove.
