- After a weekend filled with visits from family and friends Clayton passed away comforted by his close friends from the Clarenville Retirement Centre on May 27, 2012 at the age of 90 years. We will miss his contagious smile and sense of humor that brought joy to those who knew him. Predeceased by his wife Joyce of 60 years and leaving to mourn children: Sandra Avery (Terry), Wayne Frost (Faye), Judy Holloway (Will), Diane Curtis (Terry), and Shona Stoyles (Boyd); grandchildren: Mark Frost (Mandy), Cory Avery (Kim), Jon Frost (Sherry), Leanne Avery (Kevin), Jenelle Curtis (Andrew), David Curtis, Stephanie Smith (Jason), Michael Holloway (Kayla), Max and Racquel; and great-grandchildren: Sarah, Evan, Ethan and Alison. Visitation at Grace United Church, Hillview on Tuesday, May 29, 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service to take place at Grace United Church, Hillview at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Donations in his memory may be made to Grace United Church, Hillview.
