Passed away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, August 20, 2003, Augustus Seward of Gooseberry Cove, aged 78 years. Predeceased by brothers, Edmund and Gordon; and sister, Dorothy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Alfreda of 51 years; daughters, Joyce Smith, Clarenville and Velma (Clifford Lambert), Hodge's Cove; sons, Harvey, (Susan), Hodge's Cove; Leslie (Wanda), Southport and Clifford (Vera), St. Jones Within; sister, Myra (William Avery), Shoal Harbour and Lily Lambert, Southport; brother, George (Nellie), Gooseberry Cove; nine grandchildren and a circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewers Funeral Home, Little Heart's Ease. Funeral service held on Friday, August 22, 2003 from Bethany United Church, Southport with interment at United Cemetery, Little Heart's Ease.
