Miller Centre on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003 in his 74th year, Edward Thorne of Norman`s Cove. Predeceased by infant son, Brian, and Parents; John and Louise. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 48 years Beatrice. Children: Joan, Larry, Sheila (Brian Field), Gord, Judy (Don Upshall), Bernie (Alisa), Ruby (Andrew Power); 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Brothers: Bern and Rex. Sisters: Jane Newhook, Marina Peddle, Edith Thorne, Blanche Upshall; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Norman`s Cove. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 13, at 2:00 P.M. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Norman`s Cove.
