- DEAN, Beatrice Maude - We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Beatrice Maude Dean, age 65, from Southport, at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on December 18, 2006. Predeceased by parents, Walter and Catherine Ivany and brother, Clarence Ivany. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories are her husband; Eric, children; Johnny (Dolores), Natalie (Brian Whalen), Sandra (Terry Spurrell), grandchildren; Brian, Bradley, Emily, Brittany, Rachel, Paige, brothers; Richard (Maisie), Harry (Patsy), Cyril (Goldie) and many other relatives and friends. Rested at the United Church, Caplin Cove, from where the funeral service, officiated by Mrs. Lorraine Moores, took place on Thursday, December 21, 2006 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
