Passed peacefully away, after a short illness, at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on May 4, 2004, Lawrence W Bursey, age 72. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories are his wife, Theresa; son, Dennis (Minnie): daughter, Bernice (Karl Hillier); grand-sons, Blair and Tyler; brother, Edgar (Alvina); sisters, Lily Kirkland and Elder (Charles Walker), nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Rested at the United Church, North West Brook, from where the funer-al service, officiated by Rev. Glenn Jarvis, took place on May 6, 2004, with interment following. Funeral arrange-ments entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
