  DEAN, Herber John Charles - Passed suddenly away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on January 25, 2008, Herber John Charles Dean, age 70, from Random Heights, Random Island. Predeceased by parents, Alex and Clara, and by sister, Maude Warren. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Florence, children, Cindy (Bill), Mark (Cindy), Krystle (Matt). Also leaving to mourn and will never be forgotten are his special grandchildren, Nick and Hayley; sisters, Evelyn (George Reynolds), Mary (John Bowring), Lorraine Duke; brothers, George (Gertie) and Wilbur (Norma) and also a number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Nathan Cutler, took place on Sunday, January 27, 2008 with interment following at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville. FAMILY CARING FOR FAMILY God took you home, it was his will, but in our hearts, he liveth still.
