It is with great sadness that the family of the late Oscar Calvin Vatcher announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday June 26th at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons: Derek Vatcher. James (Levina) Vatcher, Murray (Moreen) Vatcher; daughter: Deborah (Garry) Janes; grandchildren: Lisa (Bobby) Davis, Jamie (Sarah) Vatcher, Cory (Amy) Janes, Stacey Janes, Michael Vatcher, Michelle Vatcher, Kelsey Vatcher; great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Tristen and Jessica Davis; mother of his children: Majorie; brothers: Clayton (Evangaline), Norman (Leila), Gerald (Marlene), Raymond (Darlene); sisters: Ivy (Austin) Rideout, Barbara (Henry) O'Neill, Addie (Terry) Clarke, Valarie (Woodrow) Dyke; and numerous nieces and nephews. he was predeceased by his parents, William (May 10th, 1980) and Vera May (Januray 7th, 1987). Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, June 28, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at First United Church, Park St. on Friday, June 29th 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Pat. melindy officiating. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
