  Norman William Vatcher Stephenville, NL February 13, 1937 - June 20, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norman William Vatcher announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Father's Day, Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn his wife of 48 years, Leila, three daughters: Joanne (Robert Russell) of Cold Brook, Dianne (Edward Butler) of London, Ontario and Suzanne (Daniel Cormier) of Kippens, step-son Roy Cooper of Fort McMurray, Alberta, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, brothers: Clayton (Evangeline), Gerald (Marlene), Raymond (Darlene), sisters: Barbara (Henry O'Neil), Adelaide (Terry Clarke) and Valerie (Woody Dyke). He was predeceased by his parents, William and Vera Mae, sister Ivy Rideout and brother Oscar. Visitation took place on Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville. Funeral service will take place at Russell's Funeral Home Chapel, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville on Tuesday, June 22nd at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathy Brett officiating. Interment will take place at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
