  baptized by Moses Spurrell LR received into church by Rev. W.A. Butler Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, January 11, 2010, Arthur Spurrell of Clarenville, aged 94 years. Predeceased by wife Mary, son Kevin, daughter Olga, grandson Geoffrey Paul and great-grandson Kevin. Left with fond and loving memories his daughters: Blanche (Alfred), Brampton, ON, Christine (late Junior Seward), Gooseberry Cove, Patsy (Stanley), Little Hearts Ease, Karen (Angus), British Columbia, Norma, Clarenville and Denise (Rodney), Logy Bay; sons: Hughie (Beverly), Fair Haven, Terry (Wanda), Kelligrews, Leon (Joanne), Etobicoke, Ont., Geoffrey, Clarenville, Randy (Diane), Alberta and Shawn (Norma), Clarenville; thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010 from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery.
