- Passed peacefully away July 6, 1996 at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, Titus Spurrell, of Little Hearts Ease, age 92 years, 10 months, son of the late James and Elizabeth Spurrell, of Little Hearts Ease. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted wife Mary (nee Stacey); three sons: Derick (Diane), Little Heart's Ease, Elvis (Sharon), Tottenham, Ont.; four daughters: Betty Trahan (Wilf), Tottenham, Ont., Lucy Soper (Ingram), Little Heart's Ease, Marilyn Whalen (Maxwell), Caplin Cove, Geraldine Fifield (predeceased by husband Wayne, Oct. 1989), Hare Bay; 8 granddaughters and 4 grandsons: Todd Whalen, Rowena Cross, Rochell Fifield, Jennifer Whalen, Dionne Soper, Danna Soper, Delilah Soper, Jerome Spurrell, Leticia Spurell, Melissa Spurrell, Victoria Spurrell, and Mathew Spurrell; 3 great-granddaughters: Amanda Fifield, Adrienne Cross and Tiffany Whalen; one sister Gladys King (William), Clarenville; three brothers: Solomon (Aletha), Little Heart's Ease, Eli (Marci), Clarenville, Barnette (Marie), Botwood; also many special brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Little Heart's Ease. Funeral Services July 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel. In lieu of flowers, donations going for the D.B. Cross Memorial Hospital or the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
