- Passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 19, 2000, Clyde Wells of Shoal Harbour, formerly of Clarenville, aged 57 years. Predeceased by parents Hubert and Ethel Wells and brother George. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Linda; brothers Gordon, Clarenville; Lawrence (Eileen), Musgravetown and Lloyd (Daphne), Shoal Harbour; sisters Annie (Late Fred Skiffington), Grand Falls-Winsor and Shirley (Lloyd Holloway), Bloomfield; sister-in-law Minnie Wells; mother-in-law Alma Maidment an a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral took place on Wednesday, February 23, 2000 from Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville. Interment at Salvation Army Cemetery, Clarenville.
