CONNORS, Annie Elizabeth - (May 19, 1920 - April 13, 2014) - It is with deepest sadness that we say farewell to our mother, (grand-mother and great-grandmother) Annie Elizabeth Connors (nee Hiscock). Mom passed peacefully away at the HSC in St. John's, on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2014. She was 93 years of age. Annie was predeceased by her husband Gerald (1960), infant daughter Cheryl Ann (1949), daughter-in-law Patricia (1999) and parents Leander and Ena Hiscock. She is survived by her nine ever loving children: Ruth (Fred Leggo); John (Jackie); Bob (Maria); Kevin (Eileen); Des (Gioia); Wayne (Peggy); Geri (Harry Nichols); Mike (Debbie); and Peter (Natalie). Also surviving Annie, with wonderful and loving memories, are her 26 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a great number of nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Tiffany Village, St. John's, for the kind and loving care they provided Mom over the past three years. Special thanks, as well, to the dedicated and loving care given to her from the doctors, nurses and staff of the HSC, where she spent the last 5 weeks of her life. Annie was a person of great generosity who gave so much to others before herself. We love you and miss you Mom with all our hearts. Cremation has taken place. Funeral and memorial services will take place from Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor in July of this coming summer. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
