GREEN, Hilda Gladys - Passed peacefully away on April 10, 2009, Hilda (nee Benson) Green, and is now in Heaven, reunited with her husband, Lloyd, who predeceased her on May 15, 2008. Hilda's sister, Laura Hamlyn and brothers, Max, Bill and Lester have also predeceased her. Hilda was born in Hillview, Trinity Bay, August 24, 1920 and moved to Grand Falls-Windsor as a young child. Some people may remember her from her years at The Cabot House in Grand Falls-Windsor; some will remember her from her years at Riff's Ltd. in Grand Falls-Windsor; others will remember her voice from "Revival Echoes," a radio broadcast from her home church, Windsor Pentecostal Church. In 1975 Lloyd and Hilda moved to St. Catharines, Ontario to be near their growing family. Left to mourn, son, Everett (Nancy) and Everett's children, Cindi and Chad; daughter, Valerie and her children Rodney (Samantha) and Bryan; eight great-grandchildren and a large number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Hilda is also mourned by her brothers, Allan (Rowena), Roy (Jean), Wallace (Diane), and Kevin (Judy). The funeral took place April 14, 2009 at the Hulse and English Funeral Home in St. Catharines, Ontario.
