Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on Saturday, January 28, 2006, John Blundon, aged 85 years, of Shoal Harbour. Predeceased by sisters, Gladys Nicholas and Hanna Clarice Blundon, and brother, Ronald. Left with fond and loving memories his wife, Florence, of 56 years; daughter, Marilyn (Bruce Lambert) of Clarenville; sons, Hedley (Mary) and Marvin (Pamela) both of Paradise; sisters, Mary Goodyear of Barrie, ON, Hilda Smith of Western, ON, Edna Vey of Clarenville and Loretta Curtis (Freeman) of Hatchet Cove; brother, George (Gloria) of Gander; grandchildren, Andrew, Joey, Renee, Nicole, Myles and Brittany; great-grandson, Mathias; and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service held on Monday, January 30, 2006, from Shoal Harbour United Church with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Cripple Children.
