- Annie M. Peddle
(July 18, 1923 - May 26, 2000)
Entered into eternal rest at the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 26 surrounded by her loving family, Annie Peddle of Hodge's Cove, age 76 years and 10 months. Predeceased by husband Alexander, April 9, 1999, and grandson Michael, May 14, 1998. Leaving to mourn with precious memories and will be sadly missed by sons Eric (Sylvia) in Hatchet Cove; Harold (Sue) in Toronto; Lindsay (Ethel) in Chamberlains; Ronald (Brenda) in Riverdale, NB; and daughter Renee (Winston) in Queen's Cove. Also 11 grandchildren Tammy (Neil), Tara, Shawn, Karen (Shawn), Mark (Annette), Melanie (Stan), Krista, Shante, Julie, Jacques (Kate) and Sylvie; six great grandchildren Cody, Luke, Emilie, Sarah, Regan and Cleb; sister-in-law Florence Peddle, Hodge's Cove; also a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, May 29 at St. Mary's Anglican Church with Rev. Edward Mercer officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert Peddle and Rev. Judy Squires and organist Clarice Drover. Interment at Anglican Cemetery, Hodge's Cove.
