- Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on October 20, 2018, Harold Boyd Tucker , age 84, of St. Jones' Within. Predeceased by his loving parents Silas and Lavenia Tucker, sisters Woodrow (Edison McCleod), Ena Dallas (Wilbert King), Aileen (Issac Holloway), brothers Eli, Winston (Anne), Eric, Hayward (Vivian), George, Lloyd, and Aubrey. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife of 63 years Mary Clarice (nee Bishop), daughters Audrey (Austin) and Beulah (Robert); grandchildren Kimberly, Jackey, Darrin, Deanna; great-grandchildren Caden, Brianna, Jade, and Tryp; sister Lavenia (William King deceased); brothers-in-law John (Mildred), Harvey (Linda); sisters-in-law Evelyn Tucker, Leoni, Evelyn Bishop, Ida, Muriel, Ruby, Beulah, Edna, Marilyn and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Resting at the United Church, Hatchet Cove.
The funeral service took place on Tuesday, October 23, at 2:00 pm with interment following at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Hatchet Cove.
