  Rowena Adelia Benson passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor on October 25, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by Adelia & William Butt (parents), Nellie Pike, Alice Manuel & Veronica Butt (sisters), Augustus Butt, Clarence Butt, Hayward Butt, Doug Butt, Gideon Butt and Barron Butt (brothers). Left to mourn are husband Allan Benson; sons Bruce (Elaine) Benson and Glen (Elizabeth) Benson. Also leaving to mourn sister Hilda Hewitt, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, special friends Clarence & Bessie Elliott and a circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Marvin Burton conducted the funeral service from Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle on Monday, October 27, 2014. Interment took place at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Homes, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers were Glen Benson, Bruce Benson, Clarence Elliott, Alex Faulkner, Bud Grimes and Junior Drover.
