  GREEN, Alice Florence - Alice was born in Herring Neck, Newfoundland on June 29, 1915 and passed peacefully away into the presence of her Lord on April 9, 2009 in Powell River, B.C., at the age of 93. She is survived by her children, Hubert (Judy), Joyce (Ray) Osmond, Lloyd (Blanche), Marion (Olin) Stride, Wallace (Debbie), Andrew (Nancy), all of Powell River, and Norma (Marvin) Welsh of Bishop's Falls, Newfoundland, as well as 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis in 1991. A funeral service was held Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Evangel Pentecostal Church with Reverend Ken Lamden officiating.
