It is with great sadness that the family of John Michael Pelley announce his passing on Thursday March 12th 2009 , at Sea, in his 41st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Lori nee Chynn, his mother & step father; Daphne ( Ernest ) Dureke of Corner Brook, his brother; James Pelley ( Arlene ), of Deer Lake, his nephew; Michael Pelley of Deer Lake, his mother & father in law; Regina & George Chynn of Deer Lake, & his 2 cats; Manny & Belley. His uncles & aunts; Albert ( Cynthia ) Lodge of Deer Lake, Gerald ( Ruby ) Lodge of Howley, Wayne ( Phyllis ) Lodge of Deer Lake, Jackie Young ( Robert ) of Deer Lake, Carter ( Lois ) Pelley of St. John's, & Susan ( Kent ) Watts of Victoria, B.C. His special family members; Mrs. Agnes Janes, Caroline Allan, Lorraine Janes, Tammy ( Gavin ) & Regan ( Godchild ) Cunningham, Jillian, Trevor, Isabelle, Juliette Lush, & Jim Janes. John was predeceased by his father; Johnson Pelley, his grandparents; Violet & Adolphus Lodge, & Patience & Elijah Pelley, & his aunt; Judy Lodge. Also leaving to mourn a large number of other relatives, special friends & his extended families. The family will be receiving family & friends from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm on Friday March 20th, 2009 from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North main Street, Deer Lake.The funeral service will take place on Saturday March 21st 2009 at 11 am from the Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake , with Father : Aidan Devine officiating, with cremation to follow.
