- Leander is listed on a number of passenger lists. The first one I found was on 30 December 1911 when he went from Port aux Basques to North Sydney on the Invermore. He was listed as 19 years old, a fisherman looking for work as a labour. On the 14 December 1912 he arrived once again in North Sydney from Port aux Basques on the Bruce. Leander is listed as a passenger onboard the SS Rosalind from St. John's on 10 April 1923 on his way to Brooklyn, New York. He was listed as 29 years old, single and a fisherman. Leander and his brother Stuart are listed as passengers onboard the SS Silvia on 11 May 1925. Lorenzo was listed as 31 years old, single and working as an iron worker.

Leander signed a US World War II draft card. At that time he was 47 years old, living at 574 E 26th Street, Brooklyn, NY. He was unemployed at that time.
Leander died on 3 March 1955 in New York, USA. Gladys died on 3 March 1988 in Miami, Florida.
