Pitcher, Edgar Passed peacefully away on January 17, 2014, in the presence of his loving family, Edgar Pitcher, formerly of Heart's Content. He was 86 years old. Predeceased by his wife, Jean and infant son, Allan; parents Henry and Mary Pitcher; brothers Albert and Cecil. Leaving to mourn with love and treasured memories are his son Derek (Audrey), daughter Jackie (Scott), grandsons Terry, Nicholas and David, and granddaughter Holly; brother Oliver (Shirley) and sister Clara (the late Cecil Porter); sisters in law Annie, Eleanor and Marina (the late Victor Langer); as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Heart's Content on Tuesday, January 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 22 at 2 pm from St. Mary's Anglican Church with inurnment to follow at Heyfield Memorial United Church cemetery, Heart's Content. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Trinity Conception Health Care Foundation (Dialysis Unit). Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Green's Funeral Home, Winterton.
