Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Mary Louisa; three daughter, Effie (Mrs. George March) at Clarenville, Hazel (Mrs. Reginald Galton) at Zephyrhills, Florida, and Annie (Mrs. Robert Fulton) at Wilberhan, Mass; three sons, Stanley at Northfield, Mass, Wilson at Clarenville and Harvey at St. John's; 38 grandchildren and a large number of great-grandchildren. Resting at the Carnell Memorial chapel; Freshwater Rd. Funeral from St. Mary's Anglican Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 5. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd.

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, December 21st, 1996 in the presence of her loving family, Mabel Stringer of Hodges Cove, age 70 years. Predeceased by son-in-law, Avalon Whalen, December 12, 1991; also three brothers: John, Graham and Wilson. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband Leander, two daughters: Sandra Oliver (Ewart), Goose Bay and Sharon Whalen, Hodges Cove; two grandchildren: Carl Whalen and Michele Oliver; one sister, Mae Peddle (Clarence), St. John's; one brother, Hubert Peddle (Ethel), Hodges Cove; one brother-in-law, Garfield Stringer (Hazel), Hodges Cove; one sister-in-law, Emma Desjardin (Tony), Montreal; also a large circle of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. 2165 Mabel J. Todd, 79 a former longtime resident of Dracut passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital. She is the beloved wife of the late George C. Todd Jr.

She was born in Arlington, MA a daughter of the late Josiah and Lillian (Drover) Stanford.

Mabel was a strong woman having endured Lupus for 45 years and Alzheimer's Disease for the past 11 years.

Mabel is survived by her three children, Jim Todd and his wife Gail of Boca Raton, FL, June LeBeau and her husband Scott of Southampton, MA and Jay Todd and his wife Heather of Pelham, NH; Seven grandchildren, Ben Todd, Nicole Todd, Josiah Todd, Anthony LeBeau, Sara LeBeau, Alexandra Todd and Olivia Todd; a daughter in law, Michelle Todd of Lowell and a brother in law, Richard Carlson of Londonderry, NH. She was predeceased by her son John Todd and her sister Natalie Carlson.

At the request of Mabel's family, a private graveside service will be held in Lowell Cemetery.

The Todd Family would like to thank the staff at D'Youville Senior Care for the wonderful care and support that Mabel received in her 11 years there as a resident.

2172 Mark Reginald (Reg) LeGrow, beloved husband of Gwen, passed away peacefully in Calgary on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at the age of 84 years.

Reg was born in Broad Cove, NF on February 19, 1921. He served in the Newfoundland Regiment during World War II. After the war, Reg joined the Newfoundland Ranger Force and became a member of the RCMP. He spent his thirty-five year career in Newfoundland attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Reg is survived by his wife Gwen, to whom he was married for fifty-three wonderful years; his son John; daughter-in-law Anna and her family; grandsons Christopher and Shane; brother-in-law Alun in England; sister-in-law Betty in Ontario; and nieces and nephews in Britain and Ontario

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Monday, May 2, 2005 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Thomas United Church (100 Hawkwood Boulevard N.W.) on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
