- Passed peacefully away after a long battle with Alzheimer's at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on Saturday, February 6th, 2010, Mary Carew, age 74 years. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Carew. Left with fond and loving memories, daughter Katrina Locke (Gerard); sons: Wayne (Sharon) and Darrell (Diane); grandchildren: Kristen, Hannah, Steven, Nichole, and Christopher; sisters: Virginia (Chuck), Daphne (George) and Patricia; brother Jim; as well as many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Escasoni for their care for Mom and kindness to the family. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Monday and Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 11th, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
