- Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Saturday, December 22, 2018 Virtue Drodge of Clarenville, aged 92 years. Welcomed into heaven by her parents Edgar and Agnes Stringer, husband Norman, infant daughter Lydia Jane, grandson Robin Drodge; sisters Blanche and Doris Stringer; brothers Aubrey and Eli Stringer. Left with fond and loving memories her children Myra Moore (Wendell), Doreen Erbland (Mardon), Tom (Dulcie), Florence Bailey (Burleigh), Dolores Hutton (Eric), Dianne Drodge Lockyer (Ward); many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sister in law Marie Stringer and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. on Monday, December 24, 2018 from the Pentecostal Church, Clarenville with interment to follow at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville. No flowers by request due to allergies. In her memory, donations gratefully accepted to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Caplin Cove.
