Passed away October 7, 2014 at A.M. Guy Health Center, Buchans after a lengthy illness, Lloyd Joseph Parsons of Millertown. He was 84 years of age. Mr. Parsons retired from Asarco and was a member of Local Union 5457 Steelworkers & the Royal Canadian Legion. Predeceased by parents John & Melina Parsons, brother Jim and sister Phyllis. Left to mourn are wife Geraldine and grand daughter Jennifer. Also leaving to mourn sisters Muriel Peddle, Joyce (Ches) Hurrell, Mary (John) Sullivan, Leone Jenkins and brother Eriel Parsons. Rev. Kim Waite conducted the funeral service on Friday, October 10th at Hoskins Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor. Interment followed at the United Cemetery, Millertown.
