Passed peacefully away at her residence in Clarenville, on September 19, 2017, Emily Jane Smith, age 97. Predeceased by her parents William Thomas and Clementine Seward; husband Levi; infant granddaughter Nancy Smith; brothers Simeon, Eric (Myra), Edmund, Hayward (Lizzie); sisters Elsie, Blanche (Vincent); daughter in law Karen; son in law Jack March; brother in law Bartlett Green. Leaving to mourn are her children; Winston (Maria), Marie, Blanche (Gordon), Joan (Wesley), Chesley (Debbie); nineteen grandchildren, and other great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren; sister Lydia; sisters in law Nellie and Marion; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Rested at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, Clarenville.
The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Andrew Ball, took place on Saturday, September 23, at 2:00 pm from the Calvary Pentecostal Church, with interment following at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville.
In her memory, donations may be made to the Calvary Pentecostal Church, Clarenville or a charity of one's choice.
