- Passed away suddenly at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, Mary Spurrell of Little Hearts Ease, age 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Titus; parents Albert and Lucy Stacey; son-in-law Wayne Fifield; brothers William, Wilfred (Audrey) and Charlie (Jessie); brother-in-law Garfield Thomas. Left with fond and loving memories are her children Marilyn (Maxwell), Geraldine, Lucy (Ingham), James (Glenys), Elvis (Sharon), Betty (Wilfred) and Derick (Diane); grandchildren Todd, Rowena, Rochelle, Jennifer, Dionne, Dana, Delilah, Jerome, Leticia, Melissa, Victoria and Matthew; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; step-grandchildren John, Sheri and Charlene; two step great grandchildren; one step great great grandchild; sisters Daphene Thomas; Lena Price (Corbet) and Anne (Ed Whalen); brothers Clifford (Evelyn) and Alfred (Audrey); sister-in-law Ethel Jacobs; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home in Little Hearts Ease on Thursday, July 25 from 2-9 p.m. and Friday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Little Hearts Ease with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Little Hearts Ease. In her memory donations may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Little Hearts Ease or Daffodil Place, St. John's.
