Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at his home in Burgoynes Cove on Saturday, October 16, 2010, Herbert Carberry, aged 89 years. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Alfreda of 68 years; daughters Rose, Linda (Alvohn), Sharon (Paul); sons Harold (Evelyn), Bert (Sharon), Grant (Debbie), Calvin (Millie), Everet (Minnie), Lewis (Donna); 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sister Pricella Day and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Burgoynes Cove. Funeral service took place on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Burgoynes Cove with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Burgoynes Cove.
