- NOSEWORTHY, Robert (Bob) Wayne'96 Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre, aged 57 years. Predeceased by his parents, James R. and Alice Noseworthy; father and mother-in-law, Solomon and Alethea Spurrell and niece Johanna Noseworthy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted wife Louise of 34 years; his daughters: Allison Louise (Mark Warren), Ottawa and Julie Alethea (special friend Keith Burgess), Mount Pearl; brothers and sister: Phil (Velda), Mount Pearl, Sandra (Rick Sullivan), Dartmouth, Randy (Marilyn), Mount Pearl and Reuben (Barbara), Garnish; brothers-in-law: Roy Spurrell (Ida), Wabush and Rex Spurrell (Sheila), Little Hearts Ease; nieces and nephews: Kenneth Spurrell, Sheri-Lynn Penney, Morgan Spurrell, Dawn Penney, Kimberley Noseworthy, Jeffrey Noseworthy, Christopher Spurrell (Leanne), Michael Noseworthy, Mitchell Spurrell and Danny Noseworthy; uncles and aunts: Hubert Noseworthy (Mona), Eloil Noseworthy (Sharon) and Norma Benson; and a large number of extended family and friends. Bob was a past Master of Whiteway Lodge and long time member of Mazol Shriners. He worked long and hard for the orthopedic challenged and burned children. A special thank you to the staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic and Health Sciences Centre Emergency and 4NA. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, April 26, 2007 from 7-9 p.m.; Friday, April 27, 2007 10-12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Saturday, April 28, 2007 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will be held from The Church of the Good Shepherd, Ruby Line, Mount Pearl on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Donations are kindly accepted in Bob's memory to any of the following: Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, Shriner's Patient Travel Fund and Church of the Good Shepherd Building Fund.
