(nee Goobie) Passed away, in the presence of her loving family, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, February 10, 2000, Jessie Steele, aged 73 years. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Samuel, 2 daughters; Janice (Rick) Hopkins, Merlee (Wayne) Rodway; 4 grandsons; Corey, Darryl, Christopher and Nicholas; sisters; Marjorie Richards, Viola Sparkes, Rita (Ferdinand) David, NY., Claris Vey, Elsie (Bill) Chaytor, Mary (Noah) Sheppard, Lillian (Jack) Laite, Sydney, NS., Audrey (Wilson) Stoyles; step-sister Phyllis Clench; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at First United Church, Glenwood from 7-9 pm Friday; 2-4 and 7-9 pm Saturday. Funeral Service to take place on Sunday, February 13, 2000 at 2 pm from the First United Church and Cemetery in Glenwood by Stacey's Funeral Home. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to the First United Church, Glenwood. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Carnell's Funeral Home. "Music was her life....now she plays with the Angels."
