Avery of Clarenville, in his 99th year. Predeceased by his parents Eleazer and Emily, daughter Phyllis, three brothers and one sister. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Bessie of 73 years; daughters Blanche Eddy (Clarence), North Harbour and Yvonne Avery, Clarenville; sons Gordon (Grace), Toronto, ON and Eleazer (Myra), North West Brook; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2001 from the Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment at the Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Memorial United Church, Clarenville.
