- RUSSELL, Allison Lorraine (nee Chafe) – Passed peacefully away following a brief illness, in the presence of her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, on Saturday, January 16, 2021, Allison Russell, age 77 years. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Russell (2011); parents, Chesley and Blanche Chafe; brothers: Eric (Vera), Lloyd (Patsy), Donald (Jean), Ray, Hubert and Fred Chafe; sister, Stella Boone (George); brother-in-law, Jack Russell; and sisters-in-law: Doreen Thompson and Shirley Russell. Leaving to mourn with the best of memories, children: Renee Delaney (Gary), Lori Russell, Robert Russell Jr. (June Decker); special friend, David Byrne (AB); sisters-in-law: Patsy Chafe, Margaret Chafe (NS), and Shirley Chafe; brothers-in-law: Doug Russell (Lorraine Rice), Gerald Russell (Verna); sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Buckle (Jim)(ON), Donna Russell and Sandra Abbott (Mick); best friend, Trudy Summers and special nephew, Darryl Chafe; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends – not to forget all of her fur babies. Special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of ICU and 4NorthA at the Health Sciences Centre. Mom was a beautiful woman whom everyone loved dearly, especially her children, and a large void will remain in our hearts with her passing. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday, January 19, from 12noon-9pm. Funeral service to take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 11:00am, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. COVID-19 Restrictions apply.
