It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Martin announce her passing on Friday, July 27th, 2012 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories two daughters: Gloria Rice (Andrew), Glenys Drover (Larry), two sons: Winston (Sadie) and Ronald (Jeanette). Grandchildren: Jacqueline Kane (Wayne), Jennifer Roberts (Stephen), Kirk Martin (Donna), Scott Drover, Ashley Drover, Ryan Martin and Melissa Spearns. Great grandchildren: Matthew Kane, Ryley Martin, Marisa and Nicolas Roberts, Owen Martin. Brothers: William, Ron (Mary), Cyril (Blanche), Eldon (Alice), Frank (Marg). Sisters: Audrey and Lorraine. She was predeceased by her husband Willis of 68 years June 30, 2011. Her parents Wilson and Henrietta Vey, her granddaughter, Pamela Martin, sister Jean, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law: Leo, Ralph and Jim. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Russell Lodge, took place from the Grace United Church, Hillview, Trinity Bay on Monday, July 30, 2012 with interment following. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Grace United Church or the Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour, Random Island.
