  Currie, Norman W. - Passed away peacefully at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on Thursday, March 10, 2005, Norman W. Currie of Britannia in his 84th year. Predeceased by his wife Annie (April 2002); parents Fenwick and Isabelle Currie; two brothers Emannual and Waktin Currie; and sister Lucy Leawood. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his niece Yvonne (Raymond) George, great-nephew Steven George, great-niece Nichole George, brother-in-law Arthur (Ella) Sceviour, sister-in-law Vida Currie, six nephews, four nieces, relatives and friends. Rested at United Church, Britannia, with interment at United Cemetery. Funeral took place on Sunday, March 13, 2005. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
